About Your Teacher
Mark Johnston has been teaching kids and adults the joys of playing music for over 25 years. He received his Master of Music degree from Illinois State University. Mark has experience teaching band in private schools in the Tampa Bay area. He was a Suzuki Violin Instructor at Illinois Wesleyan University. While teaching private music lessons Mark was also a Contemporary Church Music Director and Worship Leader for several years.

as they grow in their musical skills and abilities.
We realize that everyone has their unique purpose for taking music lessons. Some have aspirations to be the next great music superstar or have the goal of passing their college entrance audition while others simply wish to take up an instrument more casually- maybe just as a hobby. Whatever your dream we put your goals first and create a comprehensive curriculum that helps you reach those goals.
